Government chose indigenous path
Highlighting the growth in the telecom sector, Scindia said that telecom manufacturing zones will soon be created in India. The minister said that Telecom Manufacturing Zones will be the next step towards installation of one lakh BSNL towers and 5G upgradation in the country. He said that the government has two options. First, the government should use foreign equipment in case of BSNL 4G system upgrade. Or work towards creating another indigenous solution. In such a situation, the government chose the path of indigenous solution, in which the help of Indian companies should be taken.
India becomes the fifth country in the world to develop indigenous 4G system
The government has decided to choose the path of manufacturing 4G telecom equipment and hardware in the country itself. Although this will be a difficult path, the government has chosen the difficult path. He said that India is the fifth country in the world which has developed its own 4G system. With the installation of one lakh mobile towers, the government has gradually started working towards 5G system upgrade.
4G and 5G rollout work continues in the country
Jyotiraditya Scindia said that the government company C-Dot has successfully created the core 4G system. Also Tejas Network has innovated RANs Q BTS. The government says that efforts are being made for 4G rollout. There is also talk of 4G system export. The minister claims that around 1 lakh mobile towers will be installed in the country during April-May next year 2025. Besides, 5G mobile towers will also be installed.
