WHILE, Waspada.co.id – Telkomsel collaborated with the University of North Sumatra (USU) to hold an Education Talk-Inspirazi Fest event with the theme ‘Creative Thinking & The Art of Storytelling‘. This activity took place in the Prof Dr Suhadji Hadibroto Hall, USU Faculty of Economics and Business and was held as part of USU’s anniversary series. This event also aims to provide inspiration to the younger generation about the importance of creativity and the ability to tell stories in various aspects of life.
In this Inspirazi event, Telkomsel presented Ika Natassa, who is a best-selling novel writer and USU alumni, as the main speaker. Ika Natasha will share experiences and tips on how to develop a creative mindset and the art of creating through storytelling, which has brought her success as a writer.
General Manager Consumer Business Region Sumbagut Telkomsel, Agung E Setyobudi, said that his party was very enthusiastic about collaborating with the University of North Sumatra in holding this event. Telkomsel believes that creativity and storytelling abilities are important skills that can open up unlimited opportunities in this digital era.
“Through the Inspirazi event, we hope to inspire students to dare to think creatively and develop their talents,” he said in a release received by Waspada Online, Saturday (19/10).
This event is not only intended for USU students, but is also open to the public. Inspirazi Fest is expected to be a forum for participants to gain new insights and learn from the experience of a famous writer who has gone through a long journey in the world of literacy and creativity.
In this activity, the participants who attended also had the opportunity to interact and discuss directly with Ika Natasha through a question and answer session. In particular, USU also welcomed this activity and it is hoped that it can become a routine agenda that inspires the younger generation.
The Secretary of the Directorate of Educational Development at the University of North Sumatra, Dr Joiverdia Arifiyanto SH MH, also expressed the same thing, hoping that this activity would be an inspiration to continue to think creatively, weave our own stories, and contribute to the nation’s progress.
“Because in the end, every small step we take together will shape Indonesia’s brighter future,” he said.
Dr Joiverdia Arifiyanto SH MH also emphasized that the holding of Inspirazi Fest activities was an actualization of the theme of the 72nd anniversary of the University of North Sumatra, namely Strengthening the Higher Education Ecosystem to Achieve a Golden Indonesia.
“The ecosystem in question is realized through collaboration with various parties in the educational, industrial and other institutions. “Collaboration with Telkomsel is one of them,” emphasized Dr Joiverda.
In accordance with the name of the activity, he hopes that Inspirazi will be an inspiration for the academic community to always pay attention to environmental issues and inclusiveness. He added that Inspirazi activities had accommodated the movement to bring your own tumbler. For your information, USU, through zero plastic.wise, has intensively educated the academic community to be wise in using plastic materials.
“The committee has prepared refillable water, so we hope that participants will bring their own tumblrs to reduce waste. “Apart from that, we are also preparing a Signal Spokesperson (JBI) so that friends with special needs can also participate in the event well,” he explained.
In this activity, Telkomsel and USU also jointly campaigned for environmental care programs, including Telkomsel Protect the Earth for all participants. Participants who attended also received merchandise phone holders made from plastic waste from Telkomsel SIM card shell starter packs and other low-value plastic waste from landfill.
