Témara: Closing of the national championship of school sports for the blind

This edition, placed under the sign “School sport, nursery of champions”, provided an opportunity for participants to show the extent of their talent in three sporting disciplines, namely football for the visually impaired, blind football and goalball.

In football for the visually impaired, first place among the cadets went to the Mohammed V Institute for the Blind in Fez, which beat the OAPAM Institute in Casablanca and the Prince Moulay El Hassan Institute in Taroudant.

In the junior event, the OAPAM institute of Meknes finished first, ahead of the Prince Moulay El Hassan institute of Taroudant and the OAPAM institute of Casablanca.

In the cadet blind football event, the OAPAM institute of Meknes took the lead in the ranking, followed by the Prince Moulay El Hassan institute of Taroudant and the OAPAM institute of Casablanca.

In the junior rankings, the Prince Moulay El Hassan institute in Taroudant dominated the ranking, ahead of the Abi Abbas Essabti institute in Marrakech and the OAPAM institute in Casablanca.

Among junior girls, first place went to the Mohammed V Institute for the Blind in Fez, followed by the OAPAM Institute in Meknes and the OAPAM Institute in Casablanca.

In the goalball category, among cadets, the OAPAM institute of Meknes won the title, ahead of the OAPAM institute of Beni Mellal and the Mohammed VI institute for the education and teaching of the blind of Temara.

Among juniors, the OAPAM institute in Casablanca finished at the top of the ranking, ahead of the Taha Houssaine institute in Tetouan and the Mohammed VI institute for the education and teaching of the blind in Témara.

In the cadet event, the Mohammed V Institute for the Blind in Fez took the lead in the ranking, followed by the Moulay El Hassan Institute in Taroudant and the Taha Houssaine Institute in Tetouan.

Among junior girls, first place went to the Mohammed V Institute for the Blind in Fez, ahead of the OAPAM Institute in Casablanca and the Taha Houssaine Institute in Tetouan.

At the end of this sporting event, medals and trophies were awarded to the winners. Likewise, tribute was paid to executives active in the field of caring for the blind.
