The decision was made after months of conflict between the parent production company MOVES and the creator of the group, Hee-jin’s mindwho left I LOVE IT recently amid legal disputes and differences with the management of MOVES.
At a press conference held in Seoul, the members of NewJeans They expressed discontent with the agency, pointing to a lack of protection and support. Hani declared that I LOVE IT “lacks the will and ability to support NewJeans”while Danielle stated that the group seeks “a new direction away from the influence of ADOR”.
