Judge Felipe Fuentes will propose to the Electoral Tribunal of the Judicial Branch of the Federation (TEPJF) a project that ratifies the triumph of Pablo Lemus Navarro as governor of Jalisco.
In the document, which will be submitted to the Superior Chamber for consideration, the arguments presented by the Morena party and its former candidate Claudia Delgadillo González are described as “insufficient, ineffective and unfounded.”

“In this way, given that throughout this ruling all of Morena’s approaches have been distorted, without any of them having been sufficient to demonstrate that in the gubernatorial election serious or generalized irregularities arose that would have disrupted any of the the principles that govern electoral processes, the appropriate thing is to confirm the contested sentence,” the draft sentence states.
Said project must be voted on by the magistrates of the Superior Chamber of the Electoral Tribunal of the Judicial Branch of the Federation in its next ordinary session, scheduled for next Wednesday.
The decision of the Superior Chamber will be final and unassailable, so if its validity is confirmed, Lemus Navarro will be able to assume the position of governor of Jalisco on December 6.
The election for Governor of Jalisco on June 2 yielded a result of one million 626 thousand votes (44.25%) for Pablo Lemus, from Movimiento Ciudadano, against one million 440 thousand votes for the Morena-Verde-Pt-Hagamos- candidate. Future, Claudia Delgadillo González (39.17%).

Although there are 186 thousand votes difference and a percentage greater than 5%, Morena challenged the results arguing that it had been a fraudulent election.
With this determination, Judge Fuentes proposes to declare the complaint that there was fraud unfounded. .
Due to this challenge, President Claudia Sheinbaum has not held meetings with the elected governor Pablo Lemus.
