The Oasis guitarist and Manchester City fan Noel Gallagher was spared a half-naked performance after the Champions League success despite the party mood. “If City wins and Haaland scores a hat-trick, I’ll appear in my underpants,” the 56-year-old joked in an interview on Manchester City’s website before the final against Inter Milan. If Liam Gallagher, who is six years his junior and also a self-confessed City supporter, has his way, Man City’s Champions League success could be the basis for a reunion of the British band Oasis. Asked by a fan on Twitter in mid-May if the band, which had split since 2009, would return if Man City won the tournament, the 50-year-old singer replied: “I’m ready to go.”
