The Ak Bars Bank mobile application has become unavailable in the App Store

On September 14, 2023, the US Treasury imposed sanctions against Ak Bars Bank, controlled by the government of Tatarstan. The credit institution stated that, despite being included in the sanctions list, the bank continues to operate as usual; Visa, Mastercard and Mir bank cards also remain valid in Russia. Ak Bars also recommended updating the bank’s mobile application and not deleting it from the smartphone.
