The art laboratory is operating
A solo exhibition for the artist Verdi Bobrov (curator: Sharon Toval) who turned the laboratory into a factory for the production of nylon fibers and wooden brushes. With the help of the fiber production machine, she created different types of cleaning brushes which she places as site-adjusted works, as a product of experiments, research, drawings.

It is not land; Hama // A place for art
Two new and extremely hot exhibitions (seriously. Keep reading, you’ll soon understand) will open tonight at Art Place, the place where the art is. The first, “Isn’t it Earth” is a solo exhibition for Ila Tzur (curator: Hila Nevo) who created a colorful lexicon and pottery materials that she collected and cataloged according to temperatures in the ceramic firing oven. The second, “Heat”, a group exhibition (curator: Shira Friedman) that deals with the scorching sun, excessive sweating and heat exhaustion.

A group exhibition (curator: Mittal Aviram) that examines the possibility of the appearance of unnatural phenomena in natural materials and takes inspiration from the artificial reality of the soap opera. Like the series, the exhibition does not unfold one continuous narrative – but acts as an enigmatic organism that has no solution.

The exhibition of the second round of the Shatel program – a project to represent and promote artists at the beginning of their career. The exhibition is accompanied by a fanzine aired by the artists and in it a proposal for a conversation that takes place between the various objects in the space.

A solo exhibition of artist Boaz Barkani (curator: Irit Mor) who presents two bodies of work – both enigmatic and accessible at the same time. One, 16 oil paintings in muddy shades of gray and brown; The second, a series of white sheets of paper folded over and over to form 16 equal parts on each of which are 12 small and almost identical drawings in soft pencil.

Alternative relationships // The light boxes in old Jaffa
31 graduates of the fashion design department in Shankar present their final works in 60 light boxes in the alleys of Old Jaffa. The graduate designs were photographed by photographer Adi Segal, and they allow a rare glimpse behind the scenes of one of the most important fashion shows this year.

No fewer than six new exhibitions will be opened this weekend at the Haifa Museum, among them – solo exhibitions by the artists Nardin Srouji and Oded Hirsch; an exhibition of prints from the Gottsman Engraving Center in Kibbutz Kabri and a dedicated multi-sensory space for the whole family.

A second exhibition at the new sound gallery in Beit Hansen in Jerusalem, this time for the vocal ensemble “Medusa” and cellist Tom Klein. The work moves between the vocal unity of the choir and the exposure, peeling and stretching of the individual voice.

The Journeys of the East // The Museum of Islamic Culture and the Peoples of the East in Be’er Sheva
A historical exhibition that looks at the intercultural meeting born from the visit of European and American artists, researchers and tourists to the Middle East from the beginning of the 19th century to the beginning of the 20th century. Along with this, four contemporary works by Israeli artists are displayed – Elad Oren, Eliyahu Arik Bukovza, Dor Gaz and a joint work by Yael Sonino-Levi and Tamar Shalit-Avni – which correspond directly to the exhibits in the exhibition.
