The art of the internationally recognized sculptor Nejmi Murat came to life in Ruse in a unique exhibition

The exhibition “Sculpture” by the prominent visual artist Nejmi Murat was opened in the Art Gallery in Ruse. The event was also attended by the mayor of Ruse Pencho Milkov, who congratulated the author for his unique creative vision and his contribution to the cultural life of the city. This was announced by the press center of Ruse Municipality.

The exhibition includes small sculptures and drawings inspired by the relationship between man and nature. Nejmi Murat’s works impress with their deep emotional charge and explore characters and relationships between individuals through delicate forms and lighting effects. The possibility for viewers to move around the sculptures and observe the shadows cast by them creates a unique “shared” space where art is revealed in a new way.

Mayor Pencho Milkov noted that such events show the importance of art for the community and its role in preserving cultural values. “There is a lot of tenderness and lyricism in the exhibition that touches the emotionality of every person. In the details of each figure, we can find a piece of ourselves,” the mayor added.

Nejmi Murat stated for his part that he himself has given something and taken something from nature and added that he is also extremely recharged by her power. In his short speech, he defined himself as a lyrical and sensitive person who especially values ​​love and respect between people.

During the conversation between them, Milkov and Murat spent more time on one of the sculptures, discussing the possibility of turning it into a fountain, symbolizing drawing handfuls from the water of life.

The event was also attended by the deputy regional governor Georgi Georgiev, the sculptors Georgi Radulov and Zyukhtyu Kalit, the regional mufti Yujel Hairedin and dozens of Ruse residents.

Nejmi Murat, who graduated from the National Academy of Arts with a degree in Sculpture, has international recognition. He has taught at prestigious universities in Turkey and continued his creative journey in the USA before returning to Europe. Since 2016, he has been living and creating between Bulgaria and Turkey.His works in the exhibition offer not only an aesthetic experience, but also tell stories about human relationships and connection with nature, dressed in exquisite form.

The exhibition will be open to visitors until October 30 and promises to be one of the cultural events that will leave a lasting impression on the art scene of Ruse.
