Rahul, Rohit, Virat and Suryakumar will be in the top order while Hardik Pandya, Dinesh Karthik and Axar Patel will be in the middle order. In the lower order, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Harshal Patel, Jasprit Bumrah and Chahal have also found a place in Jaffer’s XI.

After Australia’s tour of India, South Africa are also touring India. The Proteas’ tour of India will consist of three T20Is and three ODIs.

The first match in the T20 format is on September 28. Thiruvananthapuram’s Kariyavattam Stadium is the venue for the first T20I. The other two matches of the T20 series will be played in Guwahati and Indore on October 2 and October 4.
