“The baby is here!” wrote the magazine “Bunte” in mid-March and with these words announced Manuel Neuer’s paternity. At this point, he himself had not yet spoken out about the baby’s happiness. The goalkeeper doesn’t talk about his private life.
The athlete rarely provides insights into his relationships. Now the 38-year-old has made an exception. Because on the Easter weekend, the footballer shared two photos with his almost 15 million fans on Instagram that showed him going for a walk – and not alone.
Both pictures were taken outside in nature. Manuel Neuer is wearing a black jogging suit, white sneakers and dark sunglasses. But it’s not his look that catches the eye, but the stroller he’s pushing in front of him.
The second photo – which you can see if you click to the right on the post – also shows him in the mountains with the stroller. This time the athlete has a smile on his face. He writes: “A little Easter walk at home.”
By “home” Manuel Neuer means at Tegernsee. The Bayern professional lives 50 kilometers south of Munich. At the end of 2016, he moved from his city villa in the upscale Munich district of Bogenhausen to the middle of the Bavarian foothills of the Alps.
