The delegation of our national billiards team leaves today, Monday, to participate in the Arab Championship, which will be held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia tomorrow, Tuesday.
The head of the game federation, Shams al-Din Abdel-Al, said in a statement received by the (INA), that “the team will participate in the snooker event, where the team will be represented by players Firas Kamel, Ali Jalil, Ali Hussein and Ihab Anwar, and the team will be supervised by Captain Ziad Tariq in the snooker event.” Pointing out that “the Arab Federation will hold a meeting on the sidelines of the championship competitions with the participation of representatives of the Arab countries that are members of the Board of Directors.”
It is noteworthy that Iraq participated in the Arab Cup, which recently took place in Bahrain, and won first place.
