The blood sample of the driver who crashed with a public transport bus in Burgas is negative. The man was released, and the vehicle returned to the municipal carrier.

The incident took place on “Maria Luisa” Street in the seaside town at around 5:30 p.m.
When the bus hit the floor, an 88-year-old passenger fell. The elderly man has a broken left hip joint and is admitted for treatment at UMBAL-Burgas.
The 39-year-old driver was tested for alcohol and drugs, with the second sample testing positive for amphetamine use. However, the blood test was negative.
The driver was detained for 24 hours and the bus was confiscated. Fast-track proceedings were initiated in the case.
