During the discussion period, Dhaka and Chittagong Stock Exchange (DSE–CSE) transactions have increased in the amount of Tk. However, the total market capitalization of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) decreased by Tk 25 thousand 84 crore in the last week.

According to the data, DSE’s main index DSEX fell by 143.38 points or 2.73 percent to 5 thousand 114 points during the week. Among other indices, DSE-30 index fell by 51.22 points or 2.65 percent to 1,879 points, DSE Shariah index by 30.12 points or 2.57 percent to 1,144 points and DSMEX index (SME index) by 61.66 points. Or 5.54 percent decreased to 1 thousand 51 points.
On the last working day of the outgoing week, the market capitalization stood at Tk 6 lakh 56 thousand 868 lakh. And on the last working day of the week before the farewell week, the market capitalization of DSE was Tk 6 lakh 69 thousand 166 lakh. The market capitalization has decreased by Tk 12 thousand 298 crores during the week.
1 thousand 693 crore 42 lakh taka was traded in Dhaka stock exchange in the last week. And in the week before the farewell week, the transaction was 1 thousand 272 crores 2 lakhs of taka. During the week, transactions on DSE increased by Tk. 421 crores and 40 lakhs.
A total of 396 shares and units of companies were traded on DSE in the outgoing week. Among the companies, 63 increased, 306 decreased and 27 remained unchanged. And 17 were not traded.
In the other capital market Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE), the overall index of CSE CASPI decreased by 518.90 points or 3.50 percent to 14 thousand 302 points. Among other CSE indices, CSE-30 index fell by 3.03 percent to 11,739 points, CSCX by 3.40 percent to 8,705 points, CSI index by 3.54 percent to 926 points and SESMEX (SME Index) by 7.14 percent. Thousand stands at 292 points.
On the last working day of the outgoing week, the market capitalization stood at Tk 6 lakh 92 thousand 209 crores. And on the last working day of the week before the farewell week, the market capitalization of CSE was 7 lakh 4 thousand 996 crores. in money The market capitalization decreased by Tk 12 thousand 786 crore during the week.
33 crore 27 lakh taka was traded in Chittagong Stock Exchange in the outgoing week. And in the week before the farewell week, Tk 30 crore 20 lakh was traded. During the week, the transaction in CSE increased by 3 crore 7 lakh rupees.
A total of 310 shares and units of companies participated in trading on CSE in the outgoing week. Among the companies, share and unit prices of 56 increased, 237 decreased and 17 remained unchanged.
