The Central African Republic expresses its constant and clear position and its attachment to the territorial integrity of the Kingdom of Morocco and considers the Moroccan autonomy plan as the only solution for the resolution of the dispute around the Sahara
Rabat – The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Francophonie and Central Africans Abroad, Ms. Sylvie Baïpo-Temon, reiterated, Monday in Rabat, the constant and clear position of the Central African Republic and expressed her attachment to territorial integrity of the Kingdom of Morocco.
During a press briefing following talks with Mr. Nasser Bourita, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Living Abroad, the head of Central African diplomacy reaffirmed the support of her country to the autonomy plan presented by the Kingdom of Morocco, which constitutes the only credible and realistic solution for the resolution of this regional dispute, in accordance with the Charter of the United Nations.
“The Central African Republic always stands alongside the Kingdom of Morocco and its efforts to find a solid and peaceful solution,” said Ms. Baïpo-Temon, adding that the Moroccan autonomy plan “is a peaceful solution which is in line with the Charter of the United Nations.
She also took this opportunity to salute the “excellent” relations between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Central African Republic.
