The Central Bank of Azerbaijan and the World Bank discussed the work on preparing a new Country Partnership Agreement for Azerbaijan and the strategic directions covered.

As reported by Day.Az, this was stated in the publication of the Chairman of the CBA Talekha Kyazymova on social network X.

The publication notes that a meeting was held with Antonella Bassan, Vice President of the World Bank for Europe and Central Asia.

“During the meeting, we discussed the work on preparing a new Country Partnership Agreement for Azerbaijan and the strategic directions covered. We also emphasized the important contribution of projects implemented by the World Bank to the implementation of the priorities and development plans of our country. We discussed opportunities for expanding cooperation between the Central Bank and the World Bank “, the publication says.

It should be noted that for more than 30 years of successful cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the World Bank, the bank has provided Azerbaijan with 49 completed and 3 ongoing government loans for 52 projects totaling more than 4 billion US dollars.
