A resident of Asbestos, who, according to the Investigative Committee of the Sverdlovsk Region, fired at the car of a doctor at a local covid hospital on the evening of November 2, was charged with “hooliganism”.

The 39-year-old brawler fled the scene, but was later detained and taken into custody. His house was searched, material evidence was seized.

According to Valery Gorelykh, press secretary of the Central Urals Ministry of Internal Affairs, it turned out that a few days before the incident, the accused visited the hospital: he came with two medical masks on his face, behaved inappropriately and frightened the staff. Then he just ran away. But later he returned to the department building with weapons.

“More than 30 police officers were involved in solving the crime, including those from the criminal intelligence unit for combating organized crime,” Colonel Gorelykh emphasized.

The suspect, by the way, has extinguished convictions.
