The Ototel municipal cooperative vehicle system was launched about 5 years ago and is intended for travel in Tel Aviv and abroad. The venture is on a steady increase in the number of subscribers and the time of use of the vehicle. Ototel offers Tel Aviv-Yafo residents and visitors an innovative service that allows them to move freely, flexibly, comfortably and cheaper than using a private car. The service data show that 21% of the subscribers sold their private vehicle, or refrained from buying another vehicle in light of the availability of the service. Each Ototel vehicle makes an average of 5 to 6 journeys each day.
