Ramos pointed out the strengths of the electoral system in the country, which have provided the sociedad trust in the institutions, under the democratic principle that it is the citizens themselves who are in charge of counting the votes.

He detailed that the Preliminary Election Results Program (PREP) is fundamental for accountability and that all electoral institutes agree on the need to make the results transparent through these programs.
