Moroccan Abdelaziz Berrada, a former international midfielder, died at the age of 35 as a result of a heart attack, according to what several Moroccan media sources announced on Friday.

According to the Moroccan website “Marrakesh Post”, Barrada died of a sudden heart attack.
He began his career with French club Paris Saint-Germain and moved between several clubs, including Marseille, and also defended the colors of the Emirati teams Al-Nasr and Al-Jazira.
Marseille posted, through its account on the “X” platform: “Rest in peace, Abdelaziz. Olympique de Marseille learned of the death of its former Moroccan international player, Abdelaziz Berrada. Upon his arrival in the summer of 2014, the attacking midfielder wore the colors of the Marseille club for two seasons. The club wishes to I offer my sincere condolences to his family and share the pain of those close to him.”
In a related context, Saint-Germain’s statement on the same platform said: “It is with great sadness that Paris Saint-Germain learned, this evening, Thursday, of the death of the Moroccan international player Abdelaziz Berrada, who was a founder of the club. To his family and loved ones, Paris Saint-Germain offers its sincere condolences.” .
Berrada was born in France, trained at Saint-Germain, and began his professional career in Spain with Getafe. He spent most of his career in the Gulf, with the exception of the two seasons he spent in Marseille.
The talented attacking midfielder also wore the Moroccan national team shirt 28 times, during which he scored 4 goals.
