(ANSA) – ROME, MARCH 21 – The Chamber’s Constitutional Affairs commission gives the green light to the rapporteur’s amendment on conflict of interest. The text contains the delegation to the government to write within 24 months a rule that regulates conflicts of interest for those who hold political office at national and regional level. The text rewrites the bill presented by the M5s, incorporating much of the content that the majority had presented as amendments. The commission also approved the mandate of the rapporteur, Paolo Emilio Russo of FI, and the text as agreed will be in the Chamber on Monday. “After saying no to the minimum wage with the trick of delegation, the government and the majority do the same with the conflict of interests. When sacrosanct things need to be done for citizens in difficulty and for the community, the government promptly proceeds against the grain.
