About three years ago, most countries of the world started the trend of closing the gates and the one that was the strictest was China, which until a few weeks ago, almost did not allow foreigners to enter its territory.

Now, a few weeks after the country’s opening to tourists, the Chinese Hainan Airlines (SS:) has announced the opening of direct flights to Beijing, one of the most sought-after tourism and business destinations in the world.

The direct flights will start on February 15 and will be operated in a format of two flights a week at this point. The direct flights to Beijing join the company’s lines to Shenzhen and Shanghai and now, Israelis can fly to China on direct flights to three destinations in China. The prices currently start from 1,798 dollars per person in the tourist class and about 4,900 dollars in the business class.

In a message published by Hainan Airlines, it was stated that China is open and all that is needed to enter is to present a negative result for a PCR test performed within 48 hours before the flight. There is no need for isolation after entering the country.

CEO of Hainan Airlines Israel Andy Wei said:

“We are very excited to announce the opening of our most important line to China – Tel Aviv-Beijing. The Israeli market exceeded all our expectations in the days before the Corona virus and we are convinced that the opening of the line to Beijing along with the lifting of the Corona virus restrictions in China will bring Chinese tourists and businessmen back to Israel, and the Israelis to China. We are prepared to provide passengers with the best service and look forward to our first flight to Beijing, the capital of China, on February 15. We hope to increase the frequency of flights to Shenzhen and Shanghai soon to meet the expected demand, and look forward to finally returning to pre-Corona operations and making them accessible For the Israeli passenger, the whole of China with our onward flights.”
