He European Central Bank (BCE) has communicated this week to Kuxtabank the minimum capital requirements for the year 2024, which are maintained with respect to those established in 2023, according to the notification that the entity itself has sent to the National Stock Market Commission (CNMV).
For next year, Kutxabank will have to register at least a CET1 capital ratio of 7.675%, composed of a requirement for Pillar 1 of 4.50%, a requirement of 0.675% for Pillar 2 and the capital conservation buffer of 2.50%.
Likewise, the bank will have to have a total capital ratio of 11.70%, with 8% from Pillar 1, 1.20% from Pillar 2 and 2.50% capital conservation.
The entity has highlighted that at the end of September, its capital ratios “vastly” exceeded these requirements, with a CET1 capital ratio of 17.5%.
