Today, Tuesday, the Federal Court issued a clarification regarding the implementation of its decision regarding the benefits of Kurdistan Region employees, while calling for accelerating the implementation of the nationalization process.
The Federal Court media stated in a statement received by the (INA): It is a comment on the measures taken by the Ministry of Finance in implementation of the ruling decision issued by the Federal Supreme Court No. (224 and consolidated No. 269 / Federal / 2024) dated 2/21/2024 regarding the payment of employees’ dues. In the Kurdistan Region, the settlement mechanism requires a period of time based on the letter of the Federal Ministry of Finance regarding financing the account under Letter No. (6369) dated 11/3/2024, so it is the duty of the Kurdistan Regional Government to cooperate and coordinate with the Federal Ministry of Finance in this regard.
The statement added, “The purpose of the Federal Supreme Court’s decision regarding the process of nationalizing salaries is to guarantee the rights of employees in the region, to preserve their strength and to achieve social justice, since the process of nationalization requires a sufficient period of time to complete it.”
He pointed out that “the Federal Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Finance and Economy in the regional government must accelerate and make efforts for the purpose of achieving the Saudization process, provided that the salaries of the remaining employees whose salaries Saudization process has not been completed for technical reasons will be disbursed in cash until the full Saudization process is completed.”
