Filming of ‘Commander 66’, which is being made with leading actors including actor Vijay, has been suspended. It has also been reported that the film crew has changed the shooting site.

Actor Vijay is starring in a new bilingual film in Tamil and Telugu, directed by Telugu director Vamsi Baidipalli. The film, tentatively titled ‘Commander 66’, is being co-produced by producer Dil Raju and Shirish Srivenkateswara Creations.

While the first phase of filming took place in Hyderabad, the set was set up in a residential area on ECR Road, Chennai and the shooting lasted for a few days. In this case, the film crew abruptly stopped filming.

Over the past few days, photos and videos of actor Vijay, Rashmika Mandana and Khushboo’s scenes and character appearances from the shooting site of ‘Commander 66’ have been posted on social media in a row, shocking the film crew and fans. This was said to be due to the fact that some of the people who watched the filming of ‘Commander 66’ had fun filming it on their cell phones.

Following Vijay’s fans’ demand for a ban on such leaked photos, the crew is currently planning to stop filming and shoot in a separate location. Following this the set is being set up again in the new location. Filming is set to resume in a few days after the work is completed. These issues have doubled the workload for the film crew. The crew is also involved in strengthening security at the new location.

It is said that the film, which is being made as a family film, will feature Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu in a special appearance to introduce the characters. Composed by Daman, the film stars Prakash Raj, Prabhu, Sarathkumar, Jayasudha, Srikanth, Sham, Yogi Babu, Sangeeta and Samyukta. The crew is planning to release the film during the Pongal festival in January next year.
