At 00:01 hours this January 1 Kenia del Carmen was born, the first baby of this 2025 in the Regional Hospital Dr. Rafael Pascasio Gamboa in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas. It weighed three kilos 85 grams and measured 49 centimeters. The newborn and her mother are in excellent health.

According to him IMSS-Wellbeingthe mother had a pregnancy of 39 weeks of gestation and this was terminated due to preeclampsia with severity criteria, for which she underwent a cesarean section. After this procedure, the mother is stable and continues to be monitored to have an adequate recovery with her baby.

The delivery was attended by a multidisciplinary group of specialists composed of gynecologists and obstetricians, pediatricians, anesthesiologists and nursing staff.
