The degree offers the most innovative and specialized knowledge to increase skills in health and hospital management, which allow promoting the efficiency and sustainability of the Health System.
The Economy and Health Foundation and the CEU San Pablo University present the first master’s degree in Advanced Models in Health Management and Management, a unique academic program in the market, developed based on the studies and analysis of 100 renowned experts. The new social reality is marked by population aging, the increase in chronic pathologies, high social demand and the continuous development of services and technologies. This situation forces us to adapt the current health model.
This master’s degree offers students the most innovative and updated knowledge available about the functioning of the National Health System. The contents have been developed based on study and analysis work that more than 100 renowned experts, together with the Economy and Health Foundation, have been carrying out since 2012 and which have been reflected in various publications. They break down the specific measures that, through broad consensus, have been defined by these experts to improve the health sector in Spain.
It is aimed mainly at managers in the health sector seeking more advanced training in health management, heads of service, coordinators and/or supervisors, leading professionals in the health sector, consultants and public and private companies that wish to transfer a program to their professionals. advanced in health management, as a continuing training tool.
The Study Plan is made up of six modules that focus on the following topics:
- Care measures and social and health care and coordination.
- Primary care and care and organizational integration and home care.
- Information management, new technologies, evaluation and benchmarking.
- Health promotion, disease prevention, patient empowerment. Patient safety and health of the healthcare professional.
- Good government. Transparency of management skills.
- Human capital and professional incentives. Purchasing and management.
The degree will begin in the month of October in blended mode, with the Faculty of Medicine of the CEU San Pablo University as the reference center.
