The first museum in the world entirely dedicated to Hip Hop will be inaugurated in 2024, which will rise in the Bronx in New York, the neighborhood where the well-known musical genre was born in the seventies. The Universal Hip Hop Museum will in fact be built not far from 1520 Sedgwick Avenue. The first stone has been laid these days by Mayor Bill de Blasio accompanied on the spot by rappers Grandmaster Flash, Slick Rick, Chuck D, Nas, LL Cool J, and Fat Joe. The investment is $ 80 million between public and private.
