The Russian government has allocated 6 billion rubles to the regions. for the program “Rural mortgage” (at 3% per annum) and projects for the integrated development of rural areas. The corresponding order was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
According to a government press release, RUB 2 billion. of this amount will go to support the mortgage in the villages. More than 2.7 billion rubles. will be directed to the development of social and engineering infrastructure in 26 regions. Over 1.1 billion rubles. will go to the arrangement of children’s and sports grounds, recreation areas and road repairs in 44 regions. Another 68 million rubles. will be sent to the Kostroma region for the construction of a road to the Kovalevsky center for helping children left without parental care.
On behalf of the Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister Victoria Abramchenko and the Ministry of Agriculture were appointed responsible for the integrated development of rural areas. The issue of increasing the share of subsidies to regions in the total volume of interbudgetary transfers is also being considered.
