Outpatient clinics and clinics: “Suspending the new tariff nomenclature, cuts in reimbursements will damage us”

Yesterday it was held at Ministry of Health a new meeting on the new national tariff nomenclature between the representatives of Upa (the regional representative of Confapi Sanità e Salute Mariastella Giorlandino, the president of Anisap Valter Rufini, the president of FederLab Italy Gennaro Lamberti and the president of Fnob Vincenzo D’Anna. And of the ministry (the head of the minister’s cabinet, Marco Mattei; the head of the political secretariat of the undersecretary Marcello Gemmato, Ettore Ruggi d’Aragona; the head of the technical secretariat of the minister of health, Mara Campitello).
“The lack of foresight of those who have done the calculations – the UPA points out – is also evident from the fact that it was not realized that these cuts also have a negative impact on public hospital structures, already affected by macroscopic deficits, weighing even more on the pockets of us Italians called to repay the public debt. These cuts prevent private healthcare, made up of 8 thousand laboratories and clinics present throughout the national territory, from providing fair and quality local medicine. Private healthcare is one capillary resource of the territory to protect citizens, as it is the only one capable of giving diagnostic answers to citizens on a daily basis even after two hours, a timeliness which is especially necessary for serious pathologies. Unfortunately, these decisions of the Ministry of Health leave us stunned and dumbfounded because they are contrary to the protection of Italian healthcare. For this reason we will ask Agenas for its opinion on this new tariff nomenclature”.
