Earlier, the “Russian Voluntary Corps” (RDK), which is fighting on the side of Ukraine, offered Gladkov to meet on the territory of the church in Novaya Tavalzhanka, not far from the border with Ukraine, and hand over two “captive Russian soldiers” to him. On video RDK showed the alleged prisoners.
In his video message, the governor said that he saw the appeal of “scoundrels, murderers and fascists”. He stated that he is ready to meet for the transfer of prisoners, but in another place – at the Shabekin border crossing.
Later, “Svoboda Rossii” appeared in the Telegram channel of the Legion message, that “the government in the person of Governor Gladkov sat down in their cozy offices in fear, leaving their people in our captivity.” The post says that the prisoners were transferred to the exchange fund of the Ukrainian side.
RDK posted on the Telegram channel on June 4 video with the caption: “Again on the native land.” The message states that “an advanced assault group of the RDK and the LSR (Legion of Liberty of Russia”) enters the suburb of Shabekin with battles. The video shows people in camouflage moving around the village. It is not specified when the video was shot.
In recent days, the local authorities of the bordering Russian town of Shabekina have been reporting shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine almost every day. Ukraine does not comment on them.
