The meeting, which was held at the headquarters of the House of Representatives in the city of Benghazi, discussed “a proposal submitted by experts at the National Security Council to establish a higher education council, and during the meeting, views were exchanged on the proposal.”

The meeting also touched on “the general strategy for education in Libya submitted to the committee earlier by the National Planning Council, which also contains a recommendation on the necessity of establishing a higher education council concerned with developing a strategy, vision, and philosophy for education in Libya.”

The meeting concluded “with an agreement to hold a workshop that includes education experts from the National Security Council and experts from the National Planning Council, in addition to experts from the executive authorities of the education sector to study and develop this proposal to be issued within the National Strategy for Education so that it has a binding status and is part of the system development strategy.” education”.
