Complex “Imaret“consists of several parts: a historical cemetery, a tomb, a monument to Khurshidban Natavan, the residence of Panahali Khan, intended for ceremonies, which currently functions as a museum.
As Day.Az reports, a member of the working group of the Imaret complex said this, answering questions from Trend. Nargiz Abdullayeva.
She noted that the complex was completely destroyed by Armenia during the occupation.
“All his tombstones and tombs in the cemetery were completely destroyed. Currently, historical facts about the Karabakh Khanate, photographs reflecting the period of occupation and the subsequent period are presented in various halls of the museum complex. At the same time, a special park for Karabakh horses has been created on the territory. This park will regularly organize horse shows, auctions, and various training sessions. Now the complex is open to visitors, tourists can use the services of the park, visitor center, museum and cafe,” she added.
