The US Special Envoy for Lebanon, Amos Hochstein, declared on Monday that the international community is committed to rebuilding Lebanon.

Hochstein said in a press conference after the (INA): “Washington wants to stop this conflict and is working with the Lebanese state and the Zionist entity to achieve this, and it is trying to develop a solution to the conflict based on International Resolution No. 1701.”
He emphasized that “the future of Lebanon cannot be linked to conflicts,” pointing out that “the support of the Lebanese and Lebanese government is needed, and we are committed to that”.
He said that “my visit aims to lay the groundwork to end this conflict through the fair and transparent implementation of Resolution 1701, and the international community and Washington are committed to rebuilding Lebanon.”
He expressed that “the Lebanese army can protect Lebanon, its borders and its ports, and we must put in place mechanisms that allow to restore confidence in Resolution 1701. It is not enough to obey it, but it must for us to work to implement it. it.”
