The Israel Defense Forces and the General Security Service launched an operation in the west of Khan Yunis, where the Al-Amal hospital is located, to eliminate terrorist infrastructure in this area of the Gaza Strip. The army press service reported this, Day.Az reports with reference to TASS.
“The operation began with a series of air force strikes on approximately 40 militant targets, including military posts, underground tunnels and other terrorist infrastructure,” the statement said.
According to the military, the Israeli armed forces surround the area and “continue to eliminate militants in close combat.”
