Veteran actor Atul Parchure, who played many characters in ‘The Kapil Sharma Show‘, passed away on October 14. He was 57 years old. He was diagnosed with cancer just a few years ago. His demise has really shocked everyone. Atul had worked in many Marathi and Hindi films and TV shows. The news of Atul’s death comes a year after it was reported that he was battling cancer. According to an India Today report, in an interview with a YouTube channel last year, Atul Parchure had revealed that doctors A 5 cm tumor was found in his liver last year.

He had said, ’25 years of my marriage had been completed. When we went to Australia and New Zealand I was fine. But after a few days, I was not able to eat anything. I was feeling nauseous and I knew something was wrong. My brother later gave me some medicines but they did not help me. After visiting several doctors, I was asked to undergo ultrasonography. When the doctor did this I saw fear in his eyes and I knew something was wrong. I was told that there was a tumor about 5 cm long in my liver and that it was cancer. I asked him if I was going to be OK or not, and he said, ‘Yes, you will be OK.’

Atul got wrong treatment
At the time, Atul said that he was treated wrongly and suffered health problems thereafter. He said, ‘My first procedure after treatment went wrong. My liver got damaged and I started having problems. Wrong treatment worsened the condition. I couldn’t even walk. I started stumbling while talking. In such a situation, the doctor asked me to wait for one and a half months. They said that if they did surgery I would be jaundiced for years and my liver would be filled with water or I would not survive. Later, I changed doctors and took the right medicine and chemotherapy.

On Monday evening, October 14, Marathi actor Jaywant Wadkar broke the news of Atul’s death. Talking to ABP Majha, he said that Atul was to work in the Marathi drama ‘Suryachi Pillai’. He said that they were rehearsing together but Atul was admitted to the hospital five days ago.
