The bereaved family of actress Park Ji-ah, who passed away while fighting cerebral infarction, expressed their gratitude to actress Yeom Hye-ran.
On the 9th, the late Park Ji-ah’s younger brother posted a captured photo of Yeom Hye-ran mentioning the deceased at the ‘2024 Asia Contents Awards & Global OTT Awards’ on his social networking service (SNS).
He said, “When I was going between life and death in the intensive care unit, even though I couldn’t visit her, she visited me several times and prayed earnestly even outside the door, and gave strength to my unconscious sister even while she was fighting the disease.” He also expressed his feelings for Yeom Hye-ran, saying, “Through the nurses, I heard about the love and friendship shown to my sister without the family knowing.”
Park Ji-ah’s younger sister said, “I was so in a hurry that I couldn’t even say hello properly, so I once again bow my head and express my deepest gratitude.” She added, “While I was looking for my daily life, I happened to come across an article and it was a great help to my mother and me. He added, “Thank you and congratulations for not forgetting your sister despite receiving this happy award.”
At the awards ceremony held on the 6th, Yeom Hye-ran shed tears, saying, “I will remember actress Park Ji-ah, who always told me she was a blessed actress when she was alive, and pray that she rests in peace.”

In particular, in ‘The Glory’ (2022), in which she appeared with Yeom Hye-ran, she left a strong impression by playing the role of Jeong Mi-hee, the mother of the main character Moon Dong-eun.
