Sulaymaniyah Governorate hosts the Second Arab indoor Championship, the First West Asian Indoor Championship, and the Second Iraqi International Bow and Arrow Championship.
The head of the Central Bow and Arrow Federation,Saad Al-Mashhadani,told the (INA) that “the tournament was organized with the participation of the teams of Iraq,Saudi Arabia,egypt,Libya,Yemen,Palestine,Syria,Jordan,Sudan and Somalia.”
He added, “The tournament will be held for men and women, with bow and compound events, noting that the first day of the tournament witnessed the opening, inspection of equipment, and a technical conference.”
He stated, ”Today, Tuesday, will witness the start of the tournament activities, and next Thursday, the General Assembly of the Arab Federation will be held in the presence of the heads of the participating Arab federations for the purpose of holding the Arab Federation elections.”
