The Lebanese Army announced today, Tuesday, the beginning of the deployment of its forces in several towns, after the Zionist enemy withdrew from them in the south of the country.

A statement from the Lebanese Army said, “Army units began to be deployed to be stationed in Ras Naqoura, Al-Shaab, Tayr Harfa, Tire, Beit Lev, Bint Jbeil, and other towns in the western and central sectors, after the The Zionist enemy withdrew from them, and the deployment will be completed in Naqoura.”

The statement added, “The specialized engineering survey units are following up with the aim of removing unexploded ordnance, opening roads and removing rubble, in collaboration with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon – UNIFIL and the five-party committee to oversee the ceasefire agreement.”

The statement continued, “This deployment coincides with the tour of the region by the head of the committee, the American general, and its two members, the French general and the commander of the Southern Litani sector in the army.”

The Command of the Lebanese Army asked “citizens not to contact the area, and to obey the instructions of the military units until the end of the deployment.”
