Team Cherry has been hard at work, but as the 2023 release window passes, fans have been hunting down the developers and anyone who might get a glimpse of when we might see the game receive updates.
Team Cherry’s head of marketing and publishing Matthew Griffin recently gave a rare update, telling fans that the game is still in development. It’s not surprising, but at least for fans, the worst hasn’t happened yet.

The more time Silksong spends on development, the more people will want it. The more people want it, the more the image of the perfect game pops into their heads, and the more the idea spreads, the more work Team Cherry has to do to make it a reality. This is a pretty bad comeback, but hopefully we’ll see a proper update soon.
