The Minister of Interior directs that police station officers be graduates of investigation courses

The Minister of Interior, Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, directed that police station officers be graduates of investigation courses.

A statement by the Ministry of Interior received by the (INA) stated, “Minister of Interior, Abdul Amir al-Shammari, chaired the first training conference, at the Ministry’s headquarters, in the presence of a number of leaders and officers.”
Al-Shammari stressed, in his speech during this conference, according to the statement, that “the Ministry of Interior has placed in its curriculum for the current year the subject of training as its top priority,” directing that “the year 2024 be the year of central and basic training.”
The Minister stated that “whenever the commander makes efforts in training, he will see fruitful results, especially during the implementation of duties, since the force under his command is properly trained,” stressing “the importance of following up on training teachers and for them to be fit for this work.”
The Minister directed that “there will be special activities during the missions carried out by the Ministry of Interior forces, especially during this year.”
He ordered that “police station officers be graduates of investigation courses and that no officer be appointed to the management of the stations who is not subject to these courses,” stressing “the importance of intensifying follow-up of the middle cadre in a way that serves the policy of the Ministry of Interior.”
