During this visit, Minister Pelissier praised the dedication of the police, whom he described as true pillars of national security. He took the chance to speak with SWAT agents injured during recent operations aimed at neutralizing the armed groups who are terrorizing several neighborhoods of Port-au-Prince. The Minister of Justice reiterated the government’s commitment to providing them with the materials and equipment necessary to carry out their mission.
