A scheme with two alternative methods of transferring personal data – with self-depersonalization and through Voskhod – is provided for in the amendments to the Law “On Personal Data” developed by the Ministry of Digital Development, prepared for the second reading in the State Duma. A source close to the State Duma and an interlocutor close to the Ministry of Digital Development told Vedomosti about this. The information was confirmed by the chairman of the State Duma Committee on Information Policy, Alexander Khinshtein (United Russia). “The bill is ready for the second reading, this week we will consider it at a committee meeting,” Khinshtein told Vedomosti.
