Conakry – The Mohammed VI Mosque of Conakry, officially inaugurated on Friday, is a symbol of “the solidity” of the links between Morocco and Guinea and of the solidarity between the two countries, affirmed the Prime Minister, head of government of the Republic from Guinea, Amadou Oury Bah.

This “beautiful mosque” comes in addition to the various initiatives of HM King Mohammed VI which testify to the secular and millennia-old links between this part of North Africa and that of West Africa, he added. .

The Guinean Prime Minister expressed his great admiration for the architecture of this mosque which reflects the Sovereign’s desire to consecrate the character of Moroccan civilization and culture in the West African landscape.

In accordance with the High Instructions of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Amir Al Mouminine, may God help him, the Mohammed VI Foundation of African Ulema, in perfect coordination with the competent Guinean authorities, proceeded to the inauguration of the Mohammed VI Mosque of Conakry and this, on the occasion of Friday Prayer.

The Mohammed VI Mosque of Conakry, whose work was kicked off by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Amir Al Mouminine, may God assist him, on February 24, 2017, was built according to authentic Moroccan architectural standards , with a capacity to accommodate more than 3,000 faithful, over an area of ​​one hectare.
