Myanmar’s new ambassador to Dhaka, Kao So Mo, has assured the repatriation of Rohingya refugees to Bangladesh once peace and order returns to Myanmar’s Rakhine.

The Foreign Secretary called for all measures to prevent armed clashes in the border areas of Bangladesh and the infiltration of armed persons from Myanmar into Bangladesh.
Both sides highlighted the potential for cooperation between the two countries in areas such as trade, shipping links, energy and agriculture.
