National team coach Jesus Casas announced today, Monday, the initial list of players called up for Gulf 26 in kuwait.
The Iraqi Football Association stated in a statement – received by the (INA) – that “the national team coach, Jesus Casas, announced the (preliminary) list of players called up for Gulf 26 in Kuwait, which includes 35 players, and they are: Jalal Hassan, ahmed Basil, Hussein Hassan, Muhammad Hassan, Kamil Saad, Rebin Sulaqa, Muhannad Gaaz, Ali Adnan, Manaf Younis, Zaid Tahseen, Ali Faez.”
He added, “The list also includes Mustafa Saadoun, Hello Faiq, Adam Talib, Ahmed Yahya, Mirkhas Doski, Ahmed McKenzie, lukas Shlimon, Zidane Iqbal, Amir Al-Ammari, Saad Abdel Amir, Ibrahim Bayesh, Amjad atwan, Karar Nabil, Ali Jassim, Ahmed yassin, Hassan Abdel Karim, Peter Korkis, Muhammad Qasim, Marco Faraj, Amin Al-Hamwi, Youssef Amin, Ayman Hussein, Muhannad Ali, Ali Yusuf.
Casas said, according to the statement: “The selection of the final list will be based on the idea of not bringing more than two players from each club so that the league can continue during the Gulf Cup.”
He added, “We are an crucial part of the national team system, one of whose goals is to help as much as possible to develop Iraqi football, and we must all cooperate in that.”
