On Monday evening, the national team went through a training unit in preparation for facing Oman tomorrow, Tuesday.
A statement from the Football Association, received by the (INA), stated that “the national team underwent an official training unit at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Bushehr, as part of its final preparations before facing the Oman national team tomorrow, Tuesday, at seven o’clock Baghdad time, as part of the qualifiers.” Qualifying for the 2026 World Cup.
The statement added, “The training was attended by the president of the federation, Adnan Darjal, the second deputy, Younis Mahmoud, and a member of the federation, Ahmed Al-Moussawi,” while noting, “the participation of (24) players in the unit, including: Fahd Talib, Ahmed Basil, Hussein Hassan, Zaid Tahseen, Mirkhas Doski, Ibrahim Bayesh, Manaf Younis, Youssef Amin, Zidane Iqbal, Ayman Hussein, Amjad Atwan, Ali Al Hammadi, Montazer Majid, Rebin Sulaqa, Hussein Ali, Ali Faez, Saad Abdel Amir, Ahmed Yahya, Amir Al Amari, France Diaa, Mohamed Al-Taie, Ali Jassim, Muhannad Ali, Ahmed Yassin.”
