The Border Ports Authority announced today, Monday, the initiation of procedures for the entry of Jordanian fans into Iraq.
The Authority’s official spokesman, Alaa al-Din al-Qaisi, said in a statement – received by the (INA): “Based on the directives of Prime Minister Muhammad Shia al-Sudani to allow Jordanian fans to enter Iraq without a visa, the Border Ports Authority, in cooperation with the supporting departments, began facilitating the entry of fans.” .
Al-Qaisi added, “The number of fans entering through the Trebil port reached 138 from the ninth of November until today,” noting that, “tomorrow, they will enter directly through Basra International Airport to attend the Iraq-Jordan match that will be held in Basra Governorate.”
