The blue club has made it official through the following statement:

“2023/24 will kick off one of the projects in which the Pachuca Group has put the most effort, work and enthusiasm, the Real Oviedo Femenino. after accession of four of the Oviedo Moderno teams to the blue structure, the Carlos Tartiere team will be managed by said teams, thus beginning a new stage in women’s football in the capital of the Principality.

Leading this project will be María Suárez García (Oviedo, 1990), a journalist linked to Real Oviedo news and a federated player for CFF Llosalín, a regional team in which she has played since the 2018-2019 season. The Asturian, founder of the women’s section of UD Llanera fifteen years ago, will now work to make women’s football grow at the Carbayón club, where she will coordinate the teams and work to provide the blues with the necessary tools to establish the bases of the project and defend the Oviedista shield every weekend.

With this movement, the Pachuca Group reaffirms its commitment to women’s football, as it has already done with the different teams of the Group”.
