One party too many? In “Le Parisien” in France, it is reported that Neymar is starting to “get on his neighbors’ nerves”, when they “got tired of listening to Latin music”. The Paris Saint-Germain star celebrated his 31st birthday at the villa where he lives in Beaujolais with a particularly loud party, prompting his neighbors to call the police.
If that’s not enough, the mayor of Evelyn threatens to sue the Brazilian for repeated violations of public order. Neymar lives in a five-story house where Ronaldinho used to live. The neighbors say that he does not make too much effort to keep the peace.
On his birthday, in France it is reported that Latin music was played from mid-afternoon to late evening, around 11:45 p.m. The municipal and later the national police had to intervene. Mayor Luke Wattel, who lives right next to Neymar’s villa, told the media: “He is disrespectful.”
The mayor added: “It wasn’t just background noise, it was incredibly annoying. Last May he organized a party until five in the morning after Paris won the title. It’s hard to put it into words, but what do you do with someone who doesn’t really care about paying a fine of 135 euros considering the salary he receives? At some point we will file a lawsuit for disorderly conduct.”
